About
The Lab Bangkok - The Concept
The LAB is a boutique gym, specialising in functional movement, strength and conditioning training.
Opened in 2013, The LAB is the original boutique studio in Bangkok and continues to be a reliable authority amongst the local fitness scene.
Richard Cohen has worked with thousands of clients in his nearly 20-years working in the fitness industry in Bangkok, delivering high-level personalised training programs, nutrition coaching, and re-habilitation services. He specialises in weight-loss and strength programmes and is trusted by many to achieve their wellness goals.
With a small team of professional coaches, The LAB is a gym you can rely on for results.

The LAB is Thailand’s first sustainable gym
Through the elimination of single-use plastic from our studios, the #TrainAndSustain campaign was born.
Our mission is to raise awareness about mindless plastic over-consumption within our community and encourage Bangkok’s fitness scene to follow suit. As a collective, small changes and simple switches can forge a healthier city to live in.
Each month, we save 2,500 single-use plastic bottles from ending up in our oceans. We are proud to support the Pure Blue Foundation. Founded in 2010, Pure Blue Foundation has directed funds exceeding USD50,000 to aid multi-faceted marine conservation efforts around Thailand.
Bring a reusable bottle to your workout.
Leave your shoes at the door.
See you in the studio soon.
